Therapist, counsellor and psychologist websites
We do not build websites. We make yours work harder.
Most clinic websites do not need replacing. They need clearer service pages, answers to the questions patients ask, structured data and a few technical fixes. On Growth and Partner, we do that work every month.
Let us be clear about what we do
If you searched for a therapist website or a psychologist website, you may have expected a web design company. We are not one. We do not build websites, sell templates, host sites or run redesigns.
What we do is improve the website you already have, so patients can understand it and so Google and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini can read it properly. In our experience, that is where most clinics lose patients: not in the design, but in pages that do not answer the questions people ask.
What we do on your website every month
Included in Growth, and twice as much in Partner. Our AI drafts, a person reviews, and you approve before anything is published.
Service pages rewritten in your voice
We rewrite your service pages so each one says who it is for, what happens, who delivers it, what it costs, how long it takes and how to book, in the way your clinicians would explain it.
Answers to the questions patients ask
We add clear answers to the questions behind your enquiries and the ones AI tools are asked, on the pages where they belong.
Structured data
We add schema.org markup for your clinic, locations, clinicians, services and FAQs, matching exactly what each page shows.
Technical fixes
We find and fix the problems that stop Google and AI tools reading your site: blocked pages, missing titles, broken links, slow pages, text trapped in images or PDFs. Where your developer needs to make a change, we write the brief.
What makes a good clinic website
Whatever kind of practice you run, the same foundations matter.
For a counselling or therapy practice
A page for each kind of work you offer, a page for each counsellor or therapist with their registration and approach, clear fees and concessions, and a plain description of the first session. Our counselling and psychotherapy page goes further.
For a psychology practice
Exact titles and HCPC registration for each psychologist, therapies explained in plain words, fees by service, and referral information for GPs and insurers. See psychology practice marketing.
For an assessment or psychiatry clinic
The full pathway, who does what, every fee that can follow, dated waiting times, and careful wording about prescribing and shared care. See ADHD clinics and psychiatry clinics.
For every clinic
- Text on the page, not only in images, PDFs or booking widgets.
- One page per service, not one page for everything.
- Clinician pages that can be checked against registers.
- Fees and waits that are current and dated.
- Urgent help information, and a clear statement if you are not a crisis service.
- Privacy, complaints and, where it applies, your CQC rating.
Working with your developer
We find the problem
Our monthly checks show which pages are not being read or are missing facts.
We draft the fix
A page rewrite, new answers, structured data, or a technical change with a written brief.
You approve it
Nothing goes live without your say so. Your clinicians review anything clinical.
It is published
By us, if you give us access, or by you or your developer from our brief.
Questions clinic owners ask
Do you build therapist or counsellor websites?
No. We do not build, sell or host websites, and we do not sell templates. We improve the website your clinic already has, every month, on our Growth and Partner plans.
What if our website needs replacing?
Then you need a web designer or developer, and we will say so honestly. If you are on Growth or Partner, we can write a brief for them covering the pages, structured data and technical basics that search engines and AI tools need.
Which website platforms do you work with?
Most of the platforms clinics use, including WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and Webflow, and custom built sites. Where we cannot make a change ourselves, we write a clear brief for whoever manages your site.
Will you change our website without asking?
Never. We draft every change and send it for approval. Nothing is published until you say yes.
What is structured data?
Code on a page that describes its content in a standard format, schema.org, so search engines and other tools can read facts such as your clinic’s name, services, clinicians and FAQs without guessing. It only describes what the page already shows.
