AI visibility league table
Which mental health clinics do AI tools name?
Each month we plan to ask ChatGPT and Gemini the same patient questions about mental health clinics in UK cities, several times each, and publish who was named. First results: January 2027.
The method, published first
A league table is only as good as its method. Here is ours, published before any results so it cannot be bent to fit them.
- 10fixed patient questions per city and specialty
- 3runs of every question in every tool
- 2AI tools: ChatGPT and Gemini
- 5cities in the first round
Fixed questions
For each city and specialty we write 10 questions in the words patients use, such as “Where can I get a private adult ADHD assessment in Manchester?”. They stay the same each month, so changes reflect the tools, not the questions.
Several runs
AI answers vary from one run to the next. We ask each question 3 times in each tool, using the consumer versions people use.
Names and sources recorded
We record every clinic named and every source cited. A clinic is counted once per answer, however often it is mentioned.
Dated and published
Each table will show the run dates, the tools, the questions and how many answers named each clinic. Results are not edited by hand.
Cities and specialties
The first round covers London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol. Each city will have a table per specialty: adhd assessment, autism assessment, psychiatry, psychology, counselling and psychotherapy.

Why we are doing this
Clinic owners ask the same question: when someone asks ChatGPT for a clinic like mine in my city, who comes up? Most have nothing more reliable than a screenshot a colleague sent. A dated, repeated, published method gives the sector something better to look at.
It also keeps us honest. The method behind the table is the same one behind our clients’ monthly checks, so anyone can inspect how we work.
- Clinics cannot pay to be included, excluded or moved.
- We will list every question and every run date.
- Corrections, where we recorded something wrongly, will be noted on the table.

Questions clinic owners ask
What is the AI visibility league table?
A planned monthly, dated record of which mental health clinics ChatGPT and Gemini name when asked a fixed set of patient questions about a city and specialty. It will show how often each clinic was named across several runs, not a judgement of clinical quality.
When will the first results be published?
The first results are planned for January 2027. Until then each city is marked as coming soon. We do not publish placeholder rankings or example clinic names.
Does a high position mean a clinic is better?
No. It means AI tools named that clinic more often for those questions in that month. AI tools can be wrong, and visibility is not a measure of clinical quality, safety or outcomes.
Can a clinic pay to be included or to rank higher?
No. Clinics cannot pay to appear in or change the results, including clinics that use our plans.
Will you publish the questions?
Yes. Each city and specialty table will list its fixed questions, the dates of the runs and the tools used, so anyone can repeat the method.
